A prompt for every day of the Codex year, each one breathing a little deeper than the last.
The Codex Calendar shows where you are in the breath of time. One Breath, All Ages is how you walk it. Over thirteen Moons it follows the path of Breath Awakens from the first breath to the Final Invocation, breathes the twelve chakras from the crown to the heart of the heart, and lets the oldest voices of the Earth breathe through every week, from Göbekli Tepe to the present day.
In Harmony, Small Things Grow Towards Unity
The prompt follows the Codex date shown on the Calendar page, in the mode you chose there (Global or Local). Prompts marked ✦ are quoted from Breath Awakens.
Each Moon of the book is woven from the same five threads, and each prompt builds on the one before, the way Breath Awakens is set out.
The Moons walk the book in order: the Arrival, the Spiral of Forgetting, the Four Laws of Creation, the Spiral of Fifteen, RA'EL-THA-ON, the Child, the Shovel and the Ocean, the Bridge Breath, and the Final Invocation on the Breath Day. More than a hundred prompts are its own words.
Every Moon breathes the Four Pillars: Identify in week one, Accept in week two, Embrace in week three, Let Go in week four, with a breath gate on the 7th, 14th and 21st days and a Moon reflection on the 28th.
Each Moon breathes one of the twelve chakras of Breath Awakens, descending from the crown in spring to the earth-star and the feet in midwinter, turning inward to the heart of the heart, and gathering in Shekhinah around the whole.
Ninety-four voices from the Rig Veda, the Hebrew scriptures, the hymns of Egypt, the Tao Te Ching, the Buddha, Heraclitus, the Qur'an, Rumi, Guru Nanak, the Kumulipo, the Popol Vuh, Thoreau and more, each one checked word for word against a public-domain translation.
Thirteen places, one for each Moon, in the order they were built: Göbekli Tepe and Warren Field, Newgrange, Giza, Stonehenge, the Nebra sky disc, Abu Simbel, Delphi, Chankillo, Chichén Itzá, Angkor Wat, Machu Picchu, Jantar Mantar, and the whole Earth seen from space.
The book keeps the Codex year: its prompts are dated to the Moons, the eight Solar Stations each have their own page and practice, and the Breath Day and the Witness Day close the year with a question of their own.

The twelve-chakra map belongs to Breath Awakens. The classical yoga traditions of India teach seven principal chakras; the book honours both and marks the difference.

You may begin on any day. The prompts are written to be walked in order, so a newcomer can start at Moon I, Day 1 and keep the book's count alongside the calendar's.
Your Love and Truth is universal. Bring this universal love and truth to all. You are in a sacred space for all to be heard and listened to.
In Harmony, Small Things Grow Towards Unity
The book is free to read. It was made with deep gratitude to everyone whose words and work it gathers: the first watchers of the sky, the builders, the singers and sages, the translators and scholars, the living traditions, and the minds, human and artificial, that helped to check and shape it. Every ancient quotation is taken from a public-domain translation and credited where it appears. The practices are contemplative and are not medical or psychological advice; breathe gently, and return to natural breathing if any practice brings dizziness or distress.
